Words and thoughts are extremely contagious and sometimes dangerous.  You may be having a great day, minding your own business when someone says “You know I’m so sick of this damn town.  Unemployment is too high.  My boss says he’s gonna let people go if the economy don’t recover.  Rent is too high and the price of gas keeps going up.  And you know what else?  I got all kinds of health issues!”  And if you listen to someone like that long enough, their thoughts start to make sense in YOUR brain.  Their worries start to manifest in YOUR brain.  It’s because language is contagious.  Read words that give you energy.  Seek silence to rejuvenate.

I love words…they’re my work, they’re my play, they’re my passion. Words are all we have really. We have thoughts, but thoughts are fluid. Then we assign a word to a thought, and we’re stuck with that word for that thought. So be careful with words. I like to think the same words that hurt can heal. It’s a matter of how you pick them.
